Being a sex linked variety of chicken the males and females are born with distinctive coloration differences meaning that it is nearly impossible to accidentally take home a rooster.. I recently got some golden sex-link chicks. The picture is from when we first got them. They were reddish, and the images on Google show that the male chicks are yellow and the female chicks are reddish. Now they are yellow so maybe they are roosters? they are from dunlap hatchery

Female chicks are a solid golden brown or golden brown/yellow with a very defined stripe down the backside.
