The main antagonist of this movie, Mephismon, later on Gulfmon, is not very interesting, and starts the tradition of lesser Demon Lords appearing as antagonists (arguably this began with Piemon from the OG Adventure). Mephismon would later get a female X-Antibody variant, but Gulfmon has none.. Mephistomon (X Antibody) skillfully uses advanced dark incantations, and its conduct exudes elegance. Killing those who cry and beg for their lives or put up a hopeless defense gives this Digimon its life purpose.
