Competitive Points are one of the currencies in Overwatch 2. They can be used to purchase cosmetics, specifically they're used to unlock heroes' Weapon Variants. Players are awarded Competitive Points from winning or drawing matches in Competitive Play, granting them 10 for a win and 5 for a draw. Additionally, each match contributes to the Competitive Progression bar, with each win granting 3.. Competitive Play is the ranked playlist of Overwatch and Overwatch 2.
