ARRIS agent told Xfinity that the SB8200 requires a minimum upstream signal level of 45-51 dbmv. I am only getting 32.0/33 dBmV. Hence the reason the light is not blue. ARRIS agent recommended that Xfinity remove the modem from my account and setup a new profile from scratch to fix this.. This light notifies you whether or not the device is getting a signal from the internet. The receiver light is linked to the download component. If you own a dual-band modem, there will be two varying colors: A green light means that one band (either 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz) is gaining a signal. A blue light means that both bands are gaining signals. And:
A blue light means both bands (2.4GHz and 5 GHz) are receiving signals. A green light means that only one band (either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) is receiving a signal. Send Light. The "Send" light on your Arris modem is the Receive light's counterpart: it tells you whether or not your modem can send information through the internet.. Arris modem blue receive light indicates both bands (5 GHz and 2.4 GHz) are receiving signals. Arris modem green receive light indicates that only a single band (either 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz) is receiving the internet signal. 3. Power Light. The power light on your Arris modem indicates that your router is getting enough power to operate.
