i wouldn't sat that the c-100 is rare, or that it's just another older wheelhorse. fact is there's no such thing, only due to the fact that there are so many older horses with 40 plus years still getting the job done. from mowing, plowing both dirt and snow, to just pul:ROF ling a yard cart around. if it were me and the c-100 looked decent, starts and runs, i'd snap it up before someone else.. The Wheel Horse C-100 was equipped with a manual steering system, band brakes, 16x6.50-8 front tires, and 23x7.50-12 rear tires. The wheel base is 45.5 in (1150 mm). The tractor is compatible with 36" and 42" mid-mount 3-blade right-discharge mower decks with cutting heights of 1.25-3.25 in (32-82 mm) and 1.50-3.25 in (38-82 mm), 42" front.
Wheel Horse C-100 technical specifications: Engine and transmission type, wheels and tires, oil type and capacity, steering system, tractor attachments TRACTORS LAWN TRACTORS. Both the 74 C-100 & the 88 312-8 were purchased from self proclaimed Wheel Horse "Collector/Restorers", and as hind sight is 20/20, I now know they both were not restorers! Sorry to be so long winded, but this is all the lead up to my questions, by way of explaining why I have what may seem to be silly or even stupid questions.
