These instructions are for programming an XR 15 remote and an Xfinity TV Box. If you're using a different model, the steps may differ slightly, or you may have to use codes to program the remote.. To program your Xfinity remote, turn on your TV and press the Setup button until the remote's light changes from red to green. Then hit 9-9-1 on the remote and look for the light to flash green twice. Next, hit Channel-Up until the TV turns off, then hit Setup again.. Set the Xfinity TV Box-connected input as the TV's default input.
